The UK Dynamic Nuclear Polarization Magic-Angle Spinning NMR Facility is distributed across three host institutions:
the University of Cambridge, The University of Manchester, and the University of Nottingham.
It was funded through a strategic equipment grant from EPSRC as well as through contributions from the hosts.
The facility is open to external users and an application scheme makes it possible for users to apply for instrument time.
Users are encouraged to apply for grant funding to cover an access fee of £1000 (excl. VAT) per day. Successful applicants will be granted direct access to the facility, without needing to submit a separate application through the time allocation panel, provided that the PI has secured outline approval from the facility prior to submitting the application.
